⛪ Church meeting

There is an annual meeting this Sunday night. We go over financial and ministry information for the new year as well as touch on things from last year. Usually there are 3-4 testimonies. The annual report which gives a recap of each ministry will be available the 3rd week of January.

🛠️ Workshop

We are thrilled with how God has shaped Children's Workshop. Here is a quick look at how we are growing together.

  • Worship & Missions: At 9:35 AM, we gather for worship—this month featuring Christmas carols and preschool bell ringers. We also dedicate time each week to pray for our Missionary of the Month, this month - the Hulls in Papua New Guinea.
  • Targeted Learning: To keep the Bible lesson fresh and engaging, we use age-specific lessons that are different than Sunday School. Preschoolers learn in their classrooms, while K-5 students split into two groups (K-2 and 3-5) for lessons and guided activities. Each element of the morning is purposefully designed.
  • Prayer: We conclude each session with prayer. We’ve been so excited by the kids’ participation—including a Kindergartner last week who jumped at the chance to pray for her teacher!
  • Our Faithful Team: This ministry thrives because of the 7 weekly leaders and 15+ rotating helpers who serve. Your children growing in their walk with the Lord is a direct result of their faithfulness. Grateful for them and your little ones.

🙏 Prayer Focus

You already read that our kids are getting comfortable praying and praying for others. A special phrase that we reinforce in the Children's Area is "let your requests be made known to God." This is from Phil 4:6 "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." May you not hold back telling God all that is on your heart and mind - together.
