Dunkin' Believers

Believer’s Baptism is scorned by some, misunderstood by many but celebrated with gladness by those who understand. Think about these truths! 1) Being dunked in water is a symbol of cleansing, we’ve been washed! 2) Being dunked and raised up reminds us of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. 3) Baptism reminds us of our own death, burial and resurrection. Believers are dead to sin and alive to God! 4) Believers are baptized “in the name” of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Immersed into the fellowship of the Triune God! Forever! Believer's Baptism is the New Testament pattern for the confession of faith. It has been this way since the birth of the church on the day of Pentecost, 50 days after the resurrection. Have you been baptized? Have you made a public profession of faith? Have you declared before the watching world that you are immersed in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? Do you love the Word and fellowship? Are you nourished in the Lord’s Supper and prayer? Are you in awe of what God is doing in the world? Are you happy to share with those in need? Do you enjoy the company of other believers? Does praise and worship give you a fresh look at life in a God-soaked universe? Would you like to see the Lord add to His people? This is all possible today! I hope you can join us this week to celebrate our life with God.
