Multi-Use Activity Space (Gym)

Multi-Use Activity Space (Gym)

How will building a Multi-Use Activity Space (Gym) assist us to Develop Followers of Jesus for Life?

More than 100 teens regularly attend Calvary, and many of them come to Thrive. We currently use MidTown, our former facility, for this gathering. However, MidTown was not designed to be a Youth Ministry Space. The small group rooms are too small, and they have no place for large group activities – especially during the winter months.

Building the Multi-Use Activity Space (Gym) would give our teenagers a place to build relationships and skills all year long. On Sundays and throughout the week, we'll use it for engagement and education for adults, teens, and families. It will connect directly to our Expanded Children's Area so it can be easily used for Awana/GA and VBS. Finally, we will use it as an Outreach space to build relationships with our community so we can invite them to follow Jesus with us.

The Multi-Use Activity Space (Gym) would help:

  • Our Teens have a Place to Connect All Year Long
  • Adult Education/Engagement each Sunday
  • Periodic Ministry Events
  • A “Go” or Outreach Space for our Community
