Expanded Children's Area, Family Room and Fireside Room
How will the Expanded Children's Area, the Family Room, and the Fireside Room assist us to Develop Followers of Jesus for Life?
By expanding the Children's Area we'll be able to make space for more children to follow Jesus in a dedicated area that provides for secure and effective ministry to them.
Last fall, the adults gave the kids the North Wing during the 11 am hour. So, if the kids were to get much-needed space, there would be more space to continue to grow our teen and adult education on Sunday mornings as well.
By moving our infants to the dedicated Children's Area, we will increase the safety for our children and be able to repurpose our existing infant nursery to make two new spaces. The first area will be a Family Room, including a nursing moms' room. That space will give parents with infants a space for worship and engagement. The second area will be a Fireside Room used for education and engagement, serving as either a classroom or a connection space.
