Wednesday Recap 2/18/2026
I remember growing up watching a show called "Kids say the darndest things." Most of the time, they were brutely honest things that the kids observed and didn't know how to use discretion when talking about it.
Hot Topics on the other hand are questions that most students have and not many are willing to answer them in public. So, we devised a plan where students could write their questions anonymously and we would see what Scripture has to say about it.
This last week we had three seniors help answer these questions. It was great to see the students do their research and develop biblical answers about real issues. The other students also appreciated hearing from their peers on these issues as well.
Here are the questions we went over. How would you answer them from a biblical worldview? I would encourage you to dig into the Word and have conversations with your family about these types of questions.
- How was God made?
- What do I do if a friend is surrounding themselves with bad people at school?
- Does the Bible say anything about going to a non-Christian (secular) University? And how do I be biblically guided in this decision?
- What is the worst sin?
- Do babies go to heaven?
- How do you know if you are following God the way He wants you to?
Take some time this week and see what your family says.
