The new movie, “The Jesus Revolution,” made me laugh, cry and worship. Also, I cringed sometimes, and experienced conviction. Also, I realized that while peace and love were noble virtues to pursue, the hippies needed more than what they had in themselves to have peace and love. Love is more than a decision or a feeling.

It’s still sold in stores but you’d have to be a certain age to remember the cheesy commercial. In an effort to show the simplicity of use, the kids helped the adults put the meat in the bag and then shook the bag causing the seasoning to coat the meat to prepare it for baking.

I don’t consider myself a photographer or an artist but I know that contrast is powerful in the visual arts. Whether it is light and dark or a contrast of color or subject, images stand out in contrast. Contrast of a descriptive nature is often used as a means of motivation. For example, when the poor are contrasted with the rich, people are motivated to give.
